I contacted True because I was stuck managing pension funds and finances that I didn't understand. I specifically needed financial planning advice to look at current and future needs as well as critical illness and life insurance policies. True were able to clearly explain the finances to me. They were patient and understanding, especially when I needed additional clarity. I feel that I no longer need to worry and I'm more confident about my future finances. I had money to invest and I needed advice on preparing for the future. I have no experience of financial markets and could have made bad decisions. We put together a plan of where I was and where I wanted to be. Lottie then showed me how to get future financial security. Everything was explained to me so that I understood. I needed advice about finances and so much more as I was considering taking the next steps towards a divorce after being married for 30 years. But I had no idea what to do and no one to turn to and I came across True on social media and reached out. It was the best thing I did as I suddenly felt I had someone to talk to about the financial and legal side of things. I am a housewife of many years and had never dealt with anything to do with paying bills or any other financial things. True helped me to piece together a plan of action and to see a financial forecast depending on what route I chose to take. There was no hard sell just lovely people with good advice. On top of dealing with emotions and the sheer panic of the situation I was in, True showed me the way and when they could do no more for now, they then helped me find a fantastic Solicitor to deal with the divorce part of things. I was both surprised and delighted about True mainly about the way they (Lottie) came across so kind and approachable and she gave me time to think and made me feel that I could call on her anytime. They have put me in the right direction and I couldn't of got where I am without them even though I still have a long road ahead of me I feel more confident than when I first got in touch. Things had got a bit disjointed with our finances over the years. We wanted a review to see if things were on track, if there were any gaps or shortfalls and if there was anything that should be addressed. True provided us with an in depth review of our finances and investments. Long term forecasts based on various scenarios. A strategy plan for the future with recommendations for investments that would perform better and be more tax efficient. This gave us clarity and peace of mind that we were doing everything we could for a financially secure future. The result was that we are in a stronger position financially and have a clear understanding of our financial plan for the future and what we need to do moving forward. I was surprised and delighted that we had found access to such a valuable, important and all-encompassing service. I wasn't really aware this type of service existed to be honest. I also like the personal feel of this service rather than feeling like just another client being churned through the system. We've now made quite a few changes to our finances, some fairly major and there are a few more changes still to make over the next year or so. I now feel a lot more relaxed about our financial future and I have a clearer picture of our plan for the future. I also feel happier that things will get reviewed on an annual basis so we keep on top of it. I would recommend working with True as it takes away any worry you may be having over your finances and gives you clarity over your current situation and what needs to be done for the future. I didn’t have any knowledge of how to make my pension money work harder for me. I also struggle to find the time to look into how to move my money and where best to put it. Having someone with expertise to do this for me is a massive benefit. True helped me to move my old employers’ pension into a more harder working scheme to make the most out of growing the pot. I received great explanations of different options to take. True helped me to understand the process and the advantages of the proposal for my money and they took the stress of having to think about my pension saving and what to do with it off my shoulders. It’s a great service that puts your mind at ease with investments. As I had set up a limited company and was moving away from being an employee, I was no longer paying into my pension and needed to resolve this. True helped me to set up payments into a new pension pot and they easily moved my money over from my previous provider. The previous company were not proactive and my money could have been invested better. My pension pot now has a better future. I received exceptional levels of service from True. I wasn't surprised though because I have known Lottie for a long time and she has always been amazing at her job. She always goes above and beyond to help you. I contacted True because we needed to understand my long-term financial position and whether my money was invested in the right places. Trying to work this out yourself is over-whelming when it has such a huge influence on what is possible later in life. I wanted specific help in forecasting our financial position and what that meant in terms of retirement age. The model really helped us to visually see if there was a shortfall and how I could close the gap so I could retire around the age that I wanted. True also helped me make sure my current investments were invested in the correct places and in the correct way. I was delighted at how simple the financial modelling was to follow trying different scenarios and how friendly and personable Lottie was. I feel very optimistic as the outcome of the financial modelling was a lot more positive than I had imagined. I also feel more assured that I have a plan and a way of getting to that plan as opposed to the future just feeling like a big uncertainty. To anyone unsure of whether to seek financial advice - do it! It really is worth the initial investment to understand how your money is working and whether it needs to work harder for you to achieve your goals. My husband and I have various pension pots and having recently expanded our family we were keen to ensure that our money was in the correct place and working for us. We also required advice on how best to prepare for the inevitable costs of keeping a growing family and maintain our lifestyle into retirement. Lottie was friendly and informative and we felt as though she really understood what our objectives were. She undertook an extensive review of the products we currently had and whether or not we should move our money elsewhere. Lottie introduced us to cashflow modelling; a really helpful visual tool which plots how much we need to put away to ensure that we will have the funds available in our later years to meet our objectives.
